A Survey on CDIO Standards, Quality Assurance, and Accreditation

A survey will be distributed in January 2008 to CDIO leaders with items related to the following:

• Demographics regarding the respondent’s institutional, program, and CDIO related responsibilities
• Information about the stage of development of the local CDIO program relative to the CDIO standards
• Descriptions of the perceived relationship between the CDIO standards and other quality assurance schemes, for example,
  • local or institutional program review criteria,
  • governmental or other such accreditation standards, and
  • professional engineering association norms.
• Examples of other quality assurance schemes and self-study reports where appropriate

The results will be analyzed and summarized in the form of a poster with an accompany report.
